Newly Selected Young Entrepreneurs for the Fellowship Program

Our journey of building yet another batch of successful young entrepreneurs kicked off with an opening ceremony on the 21st Oct. 2019. The ceremony was well attended by friends and partners of Conversations for Change (C4C) from different organizations and media outlets.

The President and Founder of C4C, Dr. Kechi Ogbuagu in her welcome address thanked the distinguished guests present at the event for coming to share in our joy. Special thanks went to SEPLAT Petroleum Development Company for their continuous support and funding for this batch of the Fellows. In her words “SEPLAT Petroleum is truly a humanitarian-oriented company committed to youth empowerment and national development”. Dr. Kechi also commended the selected participants for making it through the rigorous selection process and urged them to make the most out of this rare opportunity.

Each of the new intakes presented their business ideas.  The 1st capacity building workshop is aimed at building their capacity in thematic areas of entrepreneurship to enable them start and run a successful business of their own.

Some of the distinguished personalities present in the opening ceremony were Dr. Kechi Ogbuagu (President and chair of the board of trustees of C4C), Mrs. Ndaguba Carol (Retired Director General of NAPTIP and C4C Board Member), Amb. Joy Ogwu (Retired Nigerian Permanent Representative to the UN and C4C Board Member), Dr. Mamadou Kante (UNFPA Deputy Regional Director West Africa), Mrs. Moromoke Oluyede (Representative of SEPLAT Petroleum Dev. Co.), Fr. Emma Ojeifo (Lux terra Chapel), Ms. May Ikokwu, a representative of Club 12, Ms Malame Mangzha (DG AFIDFF) and our media partners.
