World Day For Cultural Diversity For Dialogue and Development

Declared in 2002 by UNESCO, the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development celebrates our differences by discovering fresh perspectives for sustainable development. It is a commemorative opportunity for us all to understand and preserve cultural diversity in our world today, and why inclusion is so important for development. It is also a day to particularly remember the sanctity of human rights and fundamental freedoms by tearing down stereotypes and encouraging better understanding of cultures different from our own.

In our world today, our cultural differences make us stronger due to the variety of experiences and skills we can offer when we come together. Our strength is therefore in our diversity, and promoting this diversity in our industries and entrepreneurship opens up opportunities for young people worldwide. We must encourage and appreciate the assortment of cultures which make our world a beautifully colorful place.

Support diversity today!
